My Journey Of Learning
Who you are today does not define who you can become tomorrow.
That quote’s printed on the T-shirt I wear when I speak at events because it perfectly captures my story. I didn’t take the traditional path. I left school with no qualifications and little direction. At one point, I was a struggling musician on unemployment benefits in New Zealand, chasing the dream of building a recording studio. While troubleshooting a sound card for that studio in 1996, I discovered I loved working with computers more than my “music career” and I discovered Linux—and a whole new world opened up.
That moment sparked a love for systems, tech, and learning that changed everything. I became a self-taught Linux expert, enrolled in a Level 4 computing course, and worked my way from network admin in a primary school to founding my own company installing Linux in schools and businesses. Eventually, I joined a national education provider, where I helped over 12,500 second-chance learners get access to virtual education and technology.
That journey taught me a powerful lesson: Your past doesn’t define your future. Growth and learning are always possible.

Today, I wear many hats: broadcaster, strategist, educator, speaker, but everything I do connects to one simple mission, helping people grow through better marketing, smarter systems, and aligned sales strategies.
I help people create a platform that showcases entrepreneurs, creatives, and thought leaders through live streams, interviews, virtual events, and on-demand content. I use digital broadcasting and storytelling to elevate personal brands and amplify their reach.
I also work as a marketing strategist and trainer, specialising in turning traditional business models into virtual, scalable, content-driven engines. Whether I’m building campaign strategies, delivering training workshops, or helping a team find their brand voice, my work always sits at the intersection of growth and learning.
One of my key frameworks is the 6 Rs strategy, where I help clients get the right message, in the right content, to the right people, on the right platform, at the right time—and for the right price. I combine this with systems thinking, virtual tools, and strong storytelling to deliver long-term, measurable results.
In short, I help businesses go beyond the noise. I help them create meaningful content, build trust, and spark real engagement. And because I’ve walked the road from second-chance learner to successful entrepreneur, I know how to meet people where they are and guide them to where they want to go, digitally, strategically, and authentically.
